Police Log: May 12 to 18, 2026

In the past week, police made 59 motor vehicle stops, 37 resulting in verbal warnings and 19 in written warnings or citations. Officers also checked on a disabled vehicle, made three well-being checks, and responded to three false burglar alarms.

Tuesday, May 12
At 10:34 a.m. a Warren Avenue resident called about a FedEx package that had been delivered to their home by mistake, and an officer took it to the rightful owner. At 3:02 p.m. a 911 caller reported hitting a deer on Bolton Road. At 10:49 p.m. someone on Green Hill Road called with suspicions about a car parked on the road with its interior lights on; the caller said the car’s presence was making his dog bark incessantly. An officer spoke with the driver.

Wednesday, May 13
At 7:23 a.m. someone called 911 to report a 6-year-old boy walking by himself on Pinnacle Road. An officer located the boy and took him home. At 11:03 a.m. police were called about a student missing from school; the student was found and taken home. At 11:57 a.m. an East Bare Hill Road resident called with a complaint about two large trucks that had been parked on his property. An officer spoke with the drivers and they moved the trucks. At 8:28 p.m. Stow police asked for assistance in finding a 60-year-old woman who had jumped out of a male friend’s car on Finn Road after a dispute. She was later found in Boxborough.

Thursday, May 14
At 6:08 a.m. near town center, a 56-year-old Northbridge woman received a summons for driving without a license. At 12:46 p.m. an officer notified the Department of Public Works about a leaning stop sign at the intersection of Slough and Woodchuck Hill roads.

Friday, May 15
At 1:42 p.m. police notified the DPW that the yellow center line on Still River Road was coming off in places. At 10:18 p.m. a 911 caller reported someone driving erratically near the intersection of Mass. Ave. and Littleton County Road; police searched the area, but the car was gone.

Saturday, May 16
At 3 p.m. a Bolton Road resident complained that a man riding an electric scooter had come to his door but had not provided any identification. The man had left the area when police arrived. At 4:43 p.m. state police reported a white Honda that was weaving across lanes and had exited Route 2 into Harvard; police did not locate the car.

Sunday, May 17
At 12:47 a.m. on Prospect Hill Road a 21-year-old Clinton man received a summons for driving with a suspended license and having a car with no inspection sticker. At 2:41 a.m. an officer checked on someone in a parked car at an Ayer Road business; the person was an employee arriving early for work.

Monday, May 18
At 10:58 a.m. a caller who had tried to deliver medicine to someone on Shaker Road asked for a well-being check when the person did not answer the door; an officer spoke with the resident, who was all right. At 4:10 p.m. police received a complaint about an erratic driver on Poor Farm Road but were unable to locate the car. At 4:27 p.m. an Ayer Road resident complained about being defrauded by a contractor; police explained it was a civil issue. At 5:35 p.m. a Woodside Road resident called with a similar complaint and was also told it was a civil matter. At 5:43 p.m. an officer attempted to serve a restraining order at a home on Littleton County Road but found the subject of the order no longer lived there. At 8:40 p.m. a caller asked for a well-being check on a friend who had not responded to texts or phone calls. When police went to the Littleton Road home, they found the person there had died.
