Between July 7 and Aug. 10, the ambulance responded to 39 calls and transported 26 patients to the hospital, nine with out-of-town ALS-Paramedics on board and three with Harvard ALS-Advanced personnel on board. The ambulance responded to five motor vehicle collisions and provided four lift assists.
Friday, July 10
At 7:48 a.m. Harvard firefighters provided mutual aid to Berlin, sending the tanker to assist with water at a building fire on Central Street.
Saturday, July 11
At 12:56 p.m. the duty officer told someone to put out an illegal burn in a barrel on Ayer Road.
Tuesday, July 14
At 4:23 p.m. Engine 4 was called to a multiple-alarm fire on Columbia Street in Ayer and spent three hours helping extinguish the blaze.
Friday, July 17
At 3:38 p.m. the tanker provided water to put out a brush fire on Randall Road in Bolton.
Thursday, July 23
At 10:47 a.m. Engine 1 and the tower truck responded to an alarm on Littleton County Road, but the alarm had been set off accidentally by construction work.
Friday, July 31
At 9:40 a.m. Engine 1 was dispatched to cover the Boxborough station while Boxborough firefighters contended with a vehicle fire on Interstate 495 southbound.
Saturday, Aug. 1
At 4:31 p.m. Engine 1 responded to a commercial alarm on Littleton County Road, but the alarm had been set off accidentally by someone vaping.
Sunday, Aug. 9
At 2:07 p.m. Engine 1 and the tower went to a crash on Route 2 eastbound, and the crews cleaned up debris and provided scene safety.
Harvard firefighters also responded to multiple other calls during this five-week period, but they were sometimes canceled while en route. They also responded to 16 alarms that were set off accidentally or due to expired, dirty, or malfunctioning detectors.
