At 12:26 p.m. a Littleton County Road resident called for assistance because her landline phone service did not seem to be working. At 6:38 p.m. on Route 2 westbound a 34-year-old Leominster resident received a summons for driving an uninspected, unregistered, uninsured car with an obscured license plate. At 7:57 p.m. a Park Lane resident told police an Amazon truck had hit a mailbox and a telephone pole and then left the scene. An officer located the truck and told the driver he should have informed police about the collision.

At 7:08 a.m. a Mass. Ave. resident called 911, saying he feared for his own safety because his roommate was out of control. An officer found the roommate was having a mental health problem and called an ambulance to take him to a hospital.

At 11:28 a.m. someone came to the police station with concerns because a car had been parked in the library parking lot on Pond Road for several hours, and the engine had been running much of the time. An officer found the car belonged to an overnight driver for Walmart who had become sleepy and stopped to nap for safety reasons.

At 6:47 p.m. a caller said some rowdy young people were racing cars on Prospect Hill Road. The caller specified a Ford F-150, which was gone when police arrived. But the other youths were advised to drive more carefully.

Saturday, May 2
At 11:10 a.m. a burglar alarm went off at a West Bare Hill Road home. An officer found it had been set off accidentally by a person checking on the house for the owner, who was away.

Sunday, May 3
At 9:13 a.m. a Bolton Road resident called 911, saying she could hear a neighbor’s alarm going off. An officer found an open front door at the house, which had a For Sale sign in the yard; the officer checked the house, found it clear, and secured the unlocked door. At noon a caller told police a local restaurant had refused to allow him to come in with his service dog. The caller, who is a retired police officer and a veteran, asked that a complaint be filed. At 5:56 p.m. a 911 caller reported seeing a gray Volkswagen on Oak Hill Road with a woman passenger who appeared to have black tape over her mouth. The caller had a partial license plate number for the car. Police in Boxborough were also alerted as the car had been headed in that direction. But neither Harvard nor Boxborough police located the car, and no match was found in state records for the partial registration.

Monday, April 4
At 11:28 p.m. an Old Shirley Road resident called 911 with suspicions about someone with a flashlight in a neighbor’s yard. The person was found to be the neighbor’s daughter.
