Jamie Conaghan, Senior Vice President Marketing & Digital of Main Street Bank, has been elected chair of the Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors for 2024-2025.
The announcement was made at the Chamber’s Annual Social on May 15, 2024, at the Devens Common Center.
As the chair of the Chamber’s board of directors, she will work with fellow board members, Chamber staff, and membership, to champion the Chamber in its mission to serve the region’s business community.
“The Nashoba Valley businesses are vital economic engines and community pillars that drive job creation, innovation and growth in our region," said Jamie Conaghan, "The Chamber and Our board recognize the pivotal role employers play in shaping our region’s future as a great place to live and work. Together, we will continue to advocate and support pro-business policies that enhance competitiveness, attract investment and enable businesses of all sizes to grow, invest and succeed in Nashoba Valley.”
Jamie began her banking career in 2006 as a part-time teller and has experience in the branch network as a Personal Banker and Supervisor before transitioning fully into a marketing-focused role in 2011. Jamie earned a BA in English with a Concentration in Communications from Assumption University in Worcester, MA. She earned an MS in Organizational and Professional Communications from Regis College in Weston, MA. She is a Certified Financial Marketing Professional, a designation earned through the American Bankers Association.
In addition to her involvement with the Chamber, Jamie serves on a number of boards and charitable organizations, including President of the New England Financial Marketing Association (NEFMA), and is a volunteer facilitator and mentor for the United Way of Central MA Women’s Initiative Dollar $cholar program.
She succeeds Sal Perla, president of Nashoba Valley Medical Center, who now serves as Immediate Past chair of the board of directors.
