Library ice cream social
The library invites all ages to its annual ice cream social, Tuesday, June 23, 4 p.m., on the lawn by the pavilion at 4 Pond Road. Come make your own sundaes with ice cream from West Side Creamery, socialize with friends, play lawn games, and enjoy classic rock songs performed by the local band The Speed Bumps. To reduce waste, please bring nondisposable bowls, cups, and spoons from home. Preregistration is appreciated. Rain dates Wednesday, June 24, and Thursday, June 25. PTO end of year event
The Harvard Schools PTO will celebrate the end of the school year Friday, June 19, 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., at Canobie Lake Park, Salem, New Hampshire. Spend the day with friends at this classic theme park, with thrilling rides, haunted houses, and fun for all. Sacred fire
Old Frog Pond Farm & Studio will hold a community fire Friday, June 19, 6:30 to 9 p.m., at the farm at 38 Eldridge Road. This is a monthly community fire facilitated by Christina Gravelle, a firekeeper trained through Sacred Fire. Understand flag etiquette
The Fort Devens Museum, 94 Jackson Road, Devens, will host a brief presentation Saturday, June 20, 1 p.m., by Eagle Scout Cameron Hermann. Learn to make sourdough
The Goose and Hen farm will offer a class on sourdough bread baking Saturday, June 20, 2 to 3:30 p.m., at 85 Old Littleton Road. Make European-style sourdough bread with simple ingredients and no kneading. Participants will leave with an in-progress loaf plus additional sourdough starter. $35 per person. Time Traveler at Carlson Orchards
Time Traveler with Suzanne Buell will perform Saturday, June 20, 4 to 7 p.m., at Carlson’s Cider Barn, 115 Oak Hill Road. Bring the family, and relax with pizza and signature ciders while enjoying a program of music for a spring twilight.
Family fun at Mirror Lake
Kick off the summer season Sunday, June 21, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the annual Family Fun Day at Mirror Lake in Devens. Yoga on Rogers Field
IridESSENCE Community Health Collaborative will lead outdoor yoga every Wednesday to Aug. 26, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., on Rogers Field, Devens. Bring a yoga mat, water, sunscreen, and bug spray. Chamber music celebration concert
The Fivesparks Music Festival invites the public to its celebration concert Saturday, June 27, 7 p.m., at the Harvard Unitarian Universalist Church, 9 Ayer Road. Meet the young musicians and their coaches who are participants in this year’s festival, and hear the chamber pieces they’ve rehearsed during the week. Suggested donation $20 at the door. Yoga with alpacas

Devens farmers market
The next Devens farmers market will be held Tuesday, June 30, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and will continue every other Tuesday through Oct. 20. Fruitlands summer concert series
Fruitlands Museum, 102 Prospect Hill Road, will open its summer concert series with the Concord Band Thursday, July 2, 7 to 8:30 p.m. Bring a blanket, lawn chairs, and picnic fare, and enjoy stunning sunset views. Fun run and 5-miler
The Great Harvard 4th of July Race will be run Saturday, July 4, starting at 8:15 a.m., at the Bromfield School, 14 Mass. Ave. The 1-mile fun run will start at 9:30 a.m., and on-site registration for both opens at 6:30 a.m. Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers in seven different divisions, and postrace refreshments will be available. Celebrate Juneteenth at 19 Carter
The 19 Carter community center, 19 Carter St., Berlin, will host a Juneteenth celebration Friday, June 19, 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Listen to lyrics and verse with themes of collective consciousness performed by Born Everlasting Sun, followed by strawberry shortcake. Free. (19Carter.org).
Tanks, wings, and wheels
The American Heritage Museum, 568 Main St., Hudson, will host an exhibition of classic automobiles Saturday, June 20, and Sunday, June 21, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. This special Father’s Day weekend event will feature rare and classic cars in a driving display daily at 1 p.m., and visitors may also explore the museum’s collections of vintage aircraft, tanks, and automobiles. Tickets $20 to $35.

Ham radio field day
The American Radio Relay League will hold its annual field day 2 p.m. Saturday, June 27, through 2 p.m. Sunday, June 28, with local operators gathering at the Concord Rod and Gun Club, 74 Strawberry Hill Road, Concord. See ham radio operators reaching across North America and around the world, learn about communication techniques and technology, and try to get on the air and make a contact of your own.
