The Harvard Schools Trust Gala sets sail with 'The Yellow Boat'

The 22nd annual Harvard Schools Trust Dinner-Theater Gala was held April 9, starting with a performance by the Bromfield Drama Society at Cronin Auditorium—The Yellow Boat, Bromfield's entry in the 2011 Massachusetts High School Drama Festival. The play was followed by a silent auction and dinner catered by Chef Paul Correnty at the Fellowship Building. Proceeds from the evening will be used to fund grant requests for enrichment projects and special equipment at Hildreth Elementary School and the Bromfield School.

The April 9th Gala started at the Cronin Auditorium, where the Bromfield Drama Society presented The Yellow Boat, their entry in the 2011 Massachusetts High School Drama Festival.

In The Yellow Bioat, Eddy (Danny Hayward) and Jennifer (Jordan Davy) are best friends. Hayward and Davy received acting awards at the state competition, and the play will move on to the New England Drama Festival next week.
