Bolton & Harvard Open Studios participant and ceramic artist Liz Noonan of Boxborough displays and explains crystallization that can occur with rutile glazes upstairs at the Harvard General Store. Rutile is a mined glaze additive comprising titanium dioxide and a small amount of iron. Titanium dioxide has a high melting point that allows small opaque crystals to form. 

Harvard sculpture artist Faith Cross displays her creations at Old Frog Pond.
