Girl Scout Audrey Slavin recently completed her Gold Award project with a donation of overdose treatment supplies to Harvard Fire-EMS. Slavin’s project addressed the issue of opioid misuse, with public presentations, a website and Instagram account with educational links, and promotion of opioid first-aid training classes. Her fundraising brought in more than $600 toward naloxone, fentanyl test strips, and an emergency naloxone dispenser.
