In the past week, the ambulance responded to 10 calls and transported eight patients to the hospital, four with Harvard ALS-Advanced personnel on board. The ambulance was called to four motor vehicle collisions.
Friday, Jan. 16
At 10:56 a.m. Engine 2 and the tower truck responded to an alarm at a business on Littleton County Road; it had been set off accidentally by workers.
Saturday, Jan. 17
Between 2:37 p.m and 4:12 p.m., Engine 2 and the tower truck were called to the three car crashes on Still River, Stow, and Bolton roads. Firefighters cleaned up debris and provided scene safety at the locations.
Sunday, Jan. 18
At 10:21 a.m. a caller reported a brush fire on Old Littleton Road, but firefighters found it was a permitted burn across the town line in Littleton. At 7:37 p.m. Engine 2 accompanied the ambulance, which was responding to a medical emergency on Route 2 eastbound; firefighters provided scene safety for the ambulance crew.
