Doug Cregar, president of the Harvard Historical Society (HHS), and Claire Rindenello, HHS board member and professional musician, have created their fifth HHS program combining history and music. “Concert in the Clubhouse” will be held at the society’s meetinghouse, 215 Still River Road, Thursday, Nov. 8, at 7:30 p.m. The show will tell the stories of Harvard’s clubs—some belonging to the past (Canning and Evaporating Club) and some still active today (Men’s Bridge Club)—and their place in the community. Instrumentals and vocals will accompany each story, capturing the essence of the club in a fun, rousing way. Suggested donation is $10.
