Harvard Lions wish to thank our local communities for their continued support of our annual citrus sale fundraiser. We delivered a total of 4,500 pounds of grapefruit and oranges to our customers. Included in this were purchases of over 1,100 pounds to support our neighbors in need at Loaves & Fishes and Clear Path for Veterans. They and we continue to be overwhelmed with this generosity,
We enjoyed taking orders and meeting our neighbors at the library and Transfer Station.
We appreciate your business and assure you that all proceeds allow us to continue to fund sight, hearing, and diabetes causes along with support of local community groups such as the firefighters’ turkey raffle, Harvest Community Project, and Virginia Thurston Healing Garden, to name a few.
We also wish to thank Carlson Orchards for allowing us to use their cold storage area so we can rebox the fruit and keep it fresh until delivery day. This fundraiser would not be possible without their generous support.
