It’s been a busy year for news and features at the Press, and we’re excited to wrap up our coverage of the town’s Fourth of July festivities with a newly traditional all-color issue.
But now it’s time for us to refresh and recharge for a few weeks. This is our last issue until Aug. 16. We’ll be back to work Aug. 12, ready to do our job as Harvard’s independent paper of record.
Over the break we’re hoping to spend time in our gardens, at the pond, on the trail, or stretched out with a good book. But we won’t be absent. Keep an eye on harvardpress.com for breaking news; our news desk will be staffed, ready to respond to news that requires the reporting that only an experienced local news organization like the Press can provide. If you have a tip, phone us at 978-456-3700 and leave a message.
We’re always looking for new contributors, especially reporters, but also copy editors, columnists, and nonfiction writers of all kinds, adults as well as students. We’ll be actively recruiting when we return in August. If you’d like more information about working for the Press, write to editor@harvardpress.net.
Meantime, enjoy your summer. See you next month.
