In the past week, the ambulance responded to five calls and transported four patients to the hospital, three with out-of-town ALS Paramedic services on board. There were no motor vehicle collisions or lift assists.
Tuesday, March 10
At 9:30 a.m. Harvard firefighters provided mutual aid to Hudson, taking the tanker to help fight a building fire there.
Wednesday, March 11
At 10:28 p.m. the Fire Department received a report of a fire on East Bare Hill Road. A burn pile had rekindled after being inadequately put out earlier, and firefighters extinguished it thoroughly.
Thursday, March 12
At 4:04 p.m. the duty officer was called to a home on Under Pin Hill Road where an alarm was chirping and replaced its batteries. At 10:43 p.m. Engine 2 responded to a chirping alarm at a Bolton Road house; again, the solution was new batteries.
Monday, March 16
At 1:54 p.m. a smoke alarm went off at an Elm Street house. The duty officer found it was a malfunctioning alarm and advised the homeowner to replace it.
