In the past week, the ambulance responded to 11 calls and transported seven patients to the hospital, two with out-of-town ALS-Paramedics on board and one with Harvard ALS-Advanced personnel on board. The ambulance responded to two motor vehicle collisions and provided one lift assist.
Wednesday, July 1
At 5:55 p.m. firefighters were called to the crash on Interstate 495, but the call was canceled.
Thursday, July 2
At 6:12 a.m. Engine 1 and the ambulance responded to the one-car crash on Route 2 westbound. Firefighters cleaned up debris and waited till the car was towed. One person refused ambulance transport.
Sunday, July 5
At 4:47 p.m. the duty officer responded to a call about a boat in distress on Bare Hill Pond. The boat had run out of gas, but kayakers were able to tow it to the dock.
