Fire and Ambulance Log: June 16 to June 21, 2026

In the past week, the ambulance responded to seven calls and transported three patients to the hospital, one with out-of-town ALS-Paramedic services on board. The ambulance responded to one motor vehicle collision and provided two lift assists.

Tuesday, June 16
At 3:52 p.m. the duty officer investigated an alarm sounding at a West Bare Hill Road home; the alarm was faulty.

Wednesday, June 17
At 2:28 p.m. Engine 1 and the tower truck responded to an alarm on Westcott Road. Again the problem was a malfunctioning alarm. At 4:24 p.m. a 911 caller reported the smell of smoke on Still River Depot Road. The duty officer found the smoke was coming from a brush fire on the South Post at Devens.

Saturday, June 20
At 12:09 p.m. firefighters were called to the crash on Interstate 495 northbound, but the call was canceled while they were en route.
