Fire and Ambulance Log: August 11 to August 17, 2026

In the past week, the ambulance responded to six calls and transported three patients to the hospital, one with Harvard ALS-Advanced personnel on board. The ambulance responded to two motor vehicle collisions and provided one lift assist.

Tuesday, Aug. 11
At 8:22 p.m. the drone team and a fire officer were called to help search for a missing 5-year-old child in Acton, but the call was canceled.

Wednesday, Aug. 12
At 7:39 p.m. Engine 4 and the tower responded to a report of smoke at a Baldwin Court home; the cause was burned food.

Thursday, Aug. 13
At 4:36 p.m. Engine 4 and the tanker provided mutual aid to help extinguish a building fire on Nourse Road in Bolton.

Saturday, Aug. 15
At 5:10 p.m. Engine 1 and the tower were called to a two-car collision on Route 2 eastbound.

Sunday, Aug. 16
At 12:17 p.m. and again at 2:38 p.m. firefighters responded to a fire alarm from a Depot Road home. On the second call, the crew of Engine 1 found and removed a faulty smoke detector.

Monday, Aug. 17
At 9:12 a.m. Engine 1 and the tower went to a two-car collision on Route 2 westbound, where the crew provided scene safety and cleaned up debris. At 2:02 p.m. a carbon monoxide detector went off at a Trail Ridge Way residence; it proved to be a false alarm.
