William E. Feltus, 79, died peacefully Aug. 13, 2023, with his family by his side, in Lecanto, Florida.
Will was raised in Harvard. He raised his own family here and worked for the family automotive business, Hillside Garage, until his retirement. Former customers remember him fondly as a reliable, no-nonsense mechanic who even made house calls in an emergency.
Retired to Lyndonville, Vermont, Will built his own home as well as other construction projects. He spent his time working on his land. He enjoyed snowmobiling, old trucks and cars, riding motorcycles, and being among friends and family. He and his partner Debra Van Houten began traveling south for the winters and moved to Lecanto, Florida.
Will was predeceased by his brother, Allen Feltus; sister, Marion Evans; and second son, Rodney Feltus. He is survived by his sons, Edward Feltus (Alicia) of Cabot, Vermont; Timothy Feltus of Lyndonville, Vermont; and William Feltus of Colchester, Vermont; and by his grandchildren: Andrew, Jesaiah, Lilian, Clara, Ella, and William; and great-grandchildren Amari and Louisa.
He will be placed to rest with his brother and sister in Bellevue Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, Sept. 30, in Cabot, Vermont.
