Louis “Lenny” J. Maisel, 91, of Burlington, formerly of Harvard, died on March 7, 2026.
Lenny was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. After initially attending the City College of New York, Lenny graduated with Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and received a doctorate in electrical engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn.
Following graduation and after several years working for a defense contractor on radar systems, Lenny spent the remainder of his career as a self-employed entrepreneur, first writing a financial newsletter and developing real estate, and later as founder and president of Harvard Broadcasting Inc., developing low power television stations.
Lenny was predeceased by his parents Morris and Fae Maisel, and brother Robert Maisel. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Reba (Schechtman) Maisel of Burlington; his son, Bruce Maisel and wife Marla, of Acton; and his son, William Maisel and wife Jennifer, of Kensington, Maryland. He is also survived by grandchildren Emmie, Mia, and Theo. Before recently moving to Burlington,, Lenny and Reba lived in Harvard, where they were residents for 49 years.
A private burial was held in New Britain, Connecticut.
