Sports Roundup – March 6, 2026

The 2025-26 winter season for Bromfield’s varsity sports teams ended last week. The boys basketball team, having made it to the round of 32 in the state playoffs, failed to advance after losing to New Heights Charter of Boston 89-55 (see story on page 14). And on Feb. 25, five qualifying athletes of the Bromfield/North Middlesex Alpine ski team—three boys and two girls—raced one last time in the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association Alpine Ski Championship at Wachusett Mountain.

Spring season begins in three weeks. Bromfield will offer varsity boys and girls tennis, girls lacrosse, baseball, softball, and boys and girls track and field. Also available are rowing, through the Bare Hill Pond Rowing Association, and boys lacrosse, through a cooperative arrangement with North Middlesex.
