Suddenly, championship season has arrived. The qualifying members of swimming and the indoor track teams are preparing for their Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association state championships, both scheduled for Valentine’s Day, while the basketball and Alpine ski teams wrap up their final league matches. The boys have qualified for the MIAA playoffs; with their win over West Boylston Feb. 10, the girls are assured of a spot as well.

Bromfield athletes, including three relay teams, competed in eight of 12 events and medaled in five. Eliana Laham placed third in both the 100-yard backstroke and 500-yard freestyle. The team finished ninth among 27 participating schools. Minnechaug Regional won the meet.

Bromfield athletes,including both the 200-yard and 400-yard freestyle relay teams, competed in six of 12 events and medaled in three. Bowen Clarke was second in the 50-yard and third in the 500-yard freestyle races. The 200-yard freestyle relay team finished seventh. Bromfield was 13th among 27 participating schools. Minnechaug Regional won the meet.
