Public Shade Tree Hearing
Pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 87, Sections 3 and 4, a public hearing will be held on Sept. 30, 2025, at 9 a.m. at 243 Mass Ave. to consider the removal of the following public tree(s) by property owners Richard and Melissa Luby, to be replaced by one or two new trees as determined by the Tree Warden and property owners:

The tree(s) identified above have been posted and/or marked with a ribbon for public inspection. Any objections to the removal of these trees may be submitted in writing to the Tree Warden prior to the public hearing or stated during the hearing.
If not presenting your objection during the public hearing, please email objections to harvardtreewarden@stillriver.org no later than 24 hours prior to hearing (deadline Sept. 29, 2025, 9 a.m. Eastern U.S. time). Your objection must have your reason for objection, full name, address in Harvard, and contact phone number in case the Tree Warden has any questions. If email is not an option, please call the Tree Warden at 978-551-8135 to make other arrangements.
