Christmas tree sales

Bromfield baseball boosters are selling Christmas trees on Mass. Ave. just off the Common. Choose a tree at any time during the week and send payment through Venmo to @Bromfieldbaseball. Prices and Venmo instructions are posted at the site. Free delivery in town is available on request.


Christmas wreaths available

The Harvard Cub Scouts will be selling Christmas wreaths Saturday, Dec. 6, at the Transfer Station: $20 for a natural wreath and $30 for a Scout-decorated wreath. Thanks for supporting the Scouts.


Heat assistance available

Applications are being accepted for the town’s energy assistance program, which helps low-income households manage winter fuel costs through the 2025-26 heating season. Applications and information are available at harvard-ma.gov>>News/Announcements>>Harvard Energy Assistance (HEAT). Hazardous waste collection

The Devens Regional Household Hazardous Waste Collection Center will receive hazardous waste Saturday, Dec. 6, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at 9 Cook Street (rear) in Devens. Closed during rain; reopens when rain stops. For information on items accepted, packaging, and fees, visit DevensHHW.com.


Devens Restoration Advisory Board to meet

The Devens Restoration Advisory Board will hold its next quarterly meeting Thursday, Dec. 11, at 6:30 p.m. Topics of discussion will include project updates and upcoming schedule, a review of the Proposed Plan process, a presentation on EPA technical assistance programs, and community involvement updates. Emerson Hospital shuttle to be discontinued

The Montachusett Regional Transit Authority (MART) announces that effective Monday, Dec. 15, the shuttle service connecting Harvard and other area towns to Emerson Hospital will be discontinued.
