The Virginia Thurston Healing Garden, a cancer support center, has announced the appointment of Thomas I. Spataro as its new executive director. The Stow resident and cancer survivor brings more than 20 years experience in nonprofit leadership to the Healing Garden. As executive director, Spataro will oversee all operations, strategic planning, and community partnerships and will focus on expanding access to programs, strengthening donor relationships, and furthering the organization’s reputation as a leading resource for integrative cancer support in Massachusetts.
