Gingerbread showcase

Gingerbread figures sunbathe in AnaMaria Nanra’s “A Campy Christmas.” The scene took first place in the adult category at the Fivesparks Gingerbread competition. The judges commented “Creative, colorful, and great material selection.”

First prize for an individual teen goes to Mic Frantzdale, “How the Grinch stole Christmas.” Frantzdale cleverly tilted the base of her creation to form an icing-covered peak.

The winner of the fan favorite, “A Winter Carousel” features figures from the 12 days of Christmas, including this “lord a leaping.”

The team award goes to Sarah and Pamela Listzwan and their structure “The Burrow,” also known as the Weasley house in the Harry Potter series.
