At a Farmstand Near You: August 16, 2024

The farmstand column returns just in time for peak produce season in Harvard. There are still blueberries on the bushes, peaches and melons are in their prime, early apples are making their first appearance, and vegetables of all makes and models are overflowing in local farmstand bins. Thankfully no major weather events have plagued Harvard’s farms and orchards this year, but they need to make up for a few tough seasons, so please plan to purchase your produce locally!
