Public hearing tonight on school budget, school union study

The Harvard School Committee will hold a public hearing on the proposed 2012-13 school budget tonight at 7 p.m. in Volunteers Hall at the Harvard Public Library. Copies of the budget are available at the superintendent’s offce, 39 Mass. Ave., or online at psharvard.org.

Also tonight in Volunteers Hall, at 7:30 p.m. (following the budget hearing) the School Committee will conduct a public hearing on its Harvard/Boxborough School Union/Job Share Study. At this public hearing, the School Committee will discuss what the impact would be on Harvard Public Schools if Harvard agreed to form a school union with Boxborough. Ample time will be set aside for public comment and questions.
