Town Meeting will be held Saturday, May 3, noon, at the Bromfield School’s Cronin Auditorium. The warrant will contain 44 articles for residents to vote on. The Town Election will be held Tuesday, May 6, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., in the Hildreth Elementary School gymnasium at 27 Mass. Ave.
Safety at summer camps for children
The Board of Health reminds residents that Massachusetts recreational camps for children are required to comply with state regulations: training and background checks for staff; minimum staffing and qualification for swimming, boating, archery, and other such high-risk activities; health supervision; first aid training; and numerous policies and procedures to ensure camp programs operate safely.

REAL ID deadline
The Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles reminds residents that beginning May 7, anyone traveling by plane domestically or entering certain federal building areas will need a Registry-issued REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or ID, or a valid passport. Commonwealth-issued documents may be renewed up to one year in advance of the expiration date printed on the license or ID. For additional information visit mass.gov/rmv.
Health care following Nashoba hospital closure
State Sen. Jamie Eldridge will answer questions and talk about what his workgroup is doing about regional emergency services and patient care in the wake of Nashoba Valley Medical Center’s closure Sunday, May 4, at Trinity Chapel, 184 Center Road, Shirley. Master plan survey
In preparation for an upcoming review of the town’s master plan, the Planning Board seeks input from residents on the prioritization and continuation of goals identified in the 2016 Master Plan Report. An online survey, which should take about 10 minutes, is available on the town website at harvard-ma.gov/planning-board.
Donations for library book sale
The Friends of the Harvard Public Library are still accepting donations of used books, CDs, DVDs, and jigsaw puzzles for the upcoming book sale. The Devens Regional Household Hazardous Waste Collection Center will receive hazardous waste on Wednesday, May 7, and Saturday, May 10, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at 9 Cook Street (rear), Devens.
