At 4:30 p.m., an Ayer Road resident complained about the noise caused by children running around in the apartment above hers. Police responded but report the children were not causing enough of a disturbance to warrant police action. At 6:41 p.m., a Mettacomett Path man told police that funds were missing from his bank account but he had not made a withdrawal. Police referred the man to his bank’s fraud department. At 6:55 p.m., police responded to a report of a car accident on Fairbank Street. According to the report, a woman was pulling out of her driveway and heard a “thunk” sound. The woman could not see what caused the noise and she continued driving, police say. According to police, the woman later learned the “thunk” occurred when she backed into her husband, who had been bent over behind the car. The car hit him in the head and he got out of the way after that, according to the report. The man went to a gas station in Boxborough and contacted police there, but refused medical treatment when an ambulance arrived, police say. No charges were filed.
Wednesday, Nov. 7
At 5:40 p.m., a woman called police to ask for help removing an unwanted guest at an Ayer Road home. Police responded and report the unwanted person left as they arrived. Police informed the woman of the process for filing for an abuse prevention order.
Thursday, Nov. 8
At 8:22 a.m., police received a report someone had left equipment at a business on Ayer Road that had not yet opened for the day. Police say the equipment was expected by the business. At 12:03 p.m., police spoke to the driver of a truck that had driven down Old Mill Road in an attempt to reach Devens. There is no access to Devens by Old Mill Road, although GPS systems often say to go that way, police say.
Friday, Nov. 9
At 8:44 a.m., a St. John Lane resident told police a man had come to her house saying he worked for Comcast and needed to check on her service. Comcast does not offer service in Harvard. Police checked the area but did not locate the man or his vehicle. At 1:08 p.m., a Still River Road resident reported an attempted breaking and entering to her home. Police say they found damage to windows there, but no one had entered. The incident is under investigation. At 6:55 p.m., a Bolton Road woman told police the light was on at her neighbors’ home, even though she knew the neighbors weren’t home. Police report there was a worker there who had been authorized by the neighbor. At 7:49 p.m., police received a report of a juvenile missing from a Littleton County Road home. Police say the youth was located at the high school play. It was a case of miscommunication, police say.
Saturday, Nov. 10
At 9:52 a.m., police received a report of skaters in the road near the intersection of Pinnacle and Old Littleton roads. Police say the skaters were gone when they arrived. The police report does not specify the type of skaters. At 1:14 p.m., a Harvard woman reported a white van had pulled into her driveway and then left. She said she was concerned because she had read in the newspaper about a similar incident in September that resulted in a burglary. Police did not locate the white van. At 9:42 p.m., the State Police asked Harvard police to check the Littleton Road bridge over Route 2 for a group of boys throwing objects onto the highway. Police say there was no one on the bridge when they arrived.

Monday, Nov. 12
At 11:03 a.m., a resident of Simon Atherton Row told police someone had siphoned gas from his car. Police noted the report in their log. At 11:42 a.m., a woman reported seeing a group of young people near the intersection of Willard Lane and Clinton Shore Drive carrying what appeared to be a gun. Police investigated and report the object was a paintball gun. At 1:40 p.m., 3:27 p.m., and 4:45 p.m., police received three separate reports of two different jeeps—a green one and a black one—doing doughnuts in the parking lot of the soccer field on Depot Road. Upon investigation, police located and spoke to the driver of the green jeep. Police did not locate the driver of the black one. The vehicles did not cause significant damage to the parking lot, police say.
