In the past week, police made 34 motor vehicle stops, six resulting in verbal warnings, 27 in written warnings or citations, and one in a vehicle being towed.
Officers also made a well-being check, performed two mental health evaluations, and responded to a false burglar alarm.
Tuesday, Nov. 4
At 1:49 a.m. a Harvard officer provided mutual aid for Bolton police when a burglar alarm went off at a business on Main Street in Bolton; the alarm had been set off accidentally. At 3:58 p.m. a burglar alarm went off at a house on Slough Road. No one was home, but the back door was open, so an officer checked the house and found no intruder. The owner was notified. At 4:20 p.m. a woman came to the station to speak with an officer about someone she said was bullying her daughter.
Wednesday, Nov. 5
At 11:18 a.m. a caller said a construction crew was creating traffic problems on Still River Road; an officer was already at the site to deal with traffic issues. At 11:22 a.m. someone on Woodside Road reported two unfamiliar dogs in the yard—a border collie and a black mutt. At 4:24 p.m. a truck snagged a power line on Ayer Road. National Grid was informed and shut off power. At 10:22 p.m. a 911 caller expressed suspicions about an Amazon truck apparently making a very late delivery on Woodside Road.
Thursday, Nov. 6
At 3:43 a.m. a tree or branch came down on Littleton Road; the Department of Public Works removed it. At 5:19 a.m. someone on Blanchard Road called 911 with a medical emergency. A police officer was the first to arrive and found a woman in labor. In the next few minutes, the officer said, he and a family member helped deliver “a beautiful, healthy daughter.” The ambulance crew transported mother and baby to the hospital. At 9:14 a.m. a Littleton County Road resident reported a lost Lab nearby, but the owner soon arrived. At 2:23 p.m. National Grid was informed about a low-hanging power line on Pond Road. At 4:15 p.m. a caller reported three horses loose near the intersection of Stow and Westcott roads; they were soon rounded up and back in the paddock.

Saturday, Nov. 8
At 11:53 a.m. a caller reported a minor collision on Still River Road. At 6:19 p.m. a Littleton County Road resident called after finding a firearm left by her former boyfriend; police determined it was just a BB gun.
Sunday, Nov. 9
At 8:19 a.m. an officer cleared a number of smashed glass bottles off Ayer Road, where a case of beer had fallen. At 3:05 p.m. a child called 911, saying she did not know where her mother was; police found that the mother was just outside the Stow Road house, and all was well. At 6:42 p.m. a Harvard officer helped Boxborough police respond to a Codman Hill Road residence, where a noisy argument was in progress; peace was restored.
Monday, Nov. 10
At 12:26 p.m. an Ann Lees Road resident came to the police station to report a case of larceny or fraud. At 3:12 p.m. a caller requested a well-being check at a Fairbank Street residence where mail was piling up; police learned no one was currently living at that address. At 6:19 p.m. police were called to a house on East Bare Hill Road where a young man was causing a disturbance; he was subsequently taken to a hospital. At 10:04 p.m. police issued a summons to a 54-year-old Boxborough man for driving an unregistered, uninsured vehicle. The car was towed, and an officer gave the man a ride home.
