Upcoming kindergarten enrollment
Kindergarten enrollment at Hildreth Elementary School begins Feb. 12 for Harvard and Devens children turning 5 years old on or before Aug. 31. The deadline for online enrollment is March 29. Conservation restriction webinar
On Tuesday, Feb. 13, at 7:30 p.m. there will be a Zoom webinar titled “Know Your Land: Understanding Conservations Restrictions and Chapter 61.” Learn about protecting your land with a conservation restriction and how to save money on property taxes with Chapter 61 with Ben Urquhart from the Conservation Trust and town assessor Harald Scheid. Save the dates: Town Meeting, election
- Town Meeting will be held Saturday, April 6, noon, at the Bromfield School’s Cronin Auditorium; the last day to register to vote at the Town Meeting is Wednesday, March 27.
- The Town Election will be held Tuesday, April 9, at the Bromfield School. Nomination papers may be picked up from the town clerk’s office. The last day to register to vote in this local election is Friday, March 29.
- Voting by mail is available: The last day to request a vote-by-mail ballot is April 2. For more information, call the town clerk’s office at 978-456-4100, ext. 319 or 316.
Alarm reminder
The Fire Department wishes to remind residents that, if a carbon monoxide alarm sounds, they should leave the building and call 911 immediately. But they should not open any doors or windows, as that makes it difficult to find the source of the problem.

Loaves & Fishes food pantry
This food pantry, at 234 Barnum Road, Devens, offers drive-thru access for those needing help with groceries. Hours are first Tuesday of the month, 5 to 7 p.m., and Wednesdays, Fridays, and third Saturday, 9 a.m. to noon. For more information, visit loavesfishespantry.org.
