Wednesday, Jan. 24
At 12:28 a.m. Engine 2 went to the crash on Oak Hill Road to assist with traffic control on the slick roads. At 4:40 p.m. Engine 2 and the fire chief helped with scene safety and traffic control at the three-car collision on Ayer Road.
Friday, Jan. 26
At 4:34 a.m. Littleton asked for assistance from the Harvard tanker at a building where smoke was reported; but Littleton then canceled the call. At 5:48 a.m. Engines 2 and 4 responded to the report of a crash on Route 2, but no services were needed.
Sunday, Jan. 28
At 12:53 a.m. a caller reported an alarm sounding at an East Bare Hill Road house. The duty officer checked for carbon monoxide and found none, then replaced the battery and reset the alarm. In the evening firefighters responded to a spate of crashes on Route 2. At 6 p.m. Engines 2 and 4 went to a two-car collision and stood by for scene safety. At 7:42 p.m. Engine 2 again provided safety at a collision. And at 8:46 p.m. Engine 2 was called to a third crash but was soon released.
