After defeating Littleton in their matchups with the Tigers last week, the boys and girls cross-country teams remained undefeated and firmly first in the six-school Midland-Wachusett C League. Both the boys and girls were scheduled to race against second-place Quabbin Regional at an away meet on Wednesday, the last meet of the season. Then it will be time for the league championship later this month.
The boys soccer team (8-1-1), last year’s state champion, continues to battle for first place in Mid-Wach C against Oakmont Regional (8-0-0), its 2022 nemesis. The two teams are scheduled to meet for a final time in an away match on Tuesday, Oct. 11, a chance for the Trojan boys to even the score with Oakmont and make up for their 2-1 loss to the Spartans on Sept. 15.
Out on the links, the golf team (6-4-0) was scheduled to wrap up its season with a match against Clinton (2-6-1) on Thursday. The Mid-Wach C championship will be held Thursday, Oct. 13, at Northern Spy Golf Club in Townsend.
