Linking in
The Women’s Business Network will meet Thursday, Jan. 13, at 7:15 p.m. on Zoom to discuss “Using LinkedIn for Your Business” with Georgia Adamson. WBN is a local, volunteer-run networking group of 60 women in small businesses, professional practices, nonprofits, and the arts who meet monthly. Guests are welcome. Keep warm at Fivesparks
“Artistry in Iron and Fiber” runs through Friday, Feb. 4, at Fivesparks; opening reception Sunday, Jan. 9, 3 to 5 p.m. The exhibit features antique stoves and fiber art including warmly colored woven and quilted works by community fiber artists.
On Sunday, Jan. 23, 4 p.m., collector David Erickson will present “Warm Glow: My Life Restoring Antique Stoves,” an artisan lecture. Advance registration is required at bit.ly/3sU6mpG.
Story time
Fivesparks, 7 Fairbank Street, will present two storytelling events with professional storyteller Joey Talbert Saturday, Jan. 29. At 10 a.m.: event for families and children of all ages. A mountaineering misadventure
On Friday, Jan. 14, at 7 p.m., Warner Free Lecture series will present Ty Gagne, whose book “Where You’ll Find Me” traces the route of 32-year-old Kate Matrosova, who died mountaineering in the White Mountains on Feb. 15, 2015.
