Ludo Festival 2014 a success!

February 14, 2014

Thank you to the Bromfield administration for opening the doors of the school for the fourth annual international celebration, the Ludo Festival, and joining in the fun this year. This event is only possible with the volunteers that bring it forward each year, in our community, and in our faculty and students at the Bromfield, as well as our sponsors and donors each year.

We had more than 150 people come through. Everyone had a great time, thanks to our international ambassadors and the talent they brought to the evening. Special thanks to our senior class project leaders Amy Hu and Janny Zou, as we were able to have strong high school student presence with their getting the word out. We hope that the word can spread, that senior projects and NHS leadership roles remain a great idea and help support the future of the Ludo Festival!

It is such a celebration to have all this international heritage in our hometown. Thank you to our international community: to our special feature of Indian Dance this year, by our Bromfield sixth grader, Meenu Ramakrishnan, to all our returning international families, as well as to our new volunteer international families.

Our International Raffle continues to be a big success. Thank you for the donations to this year’s raffle, and there was a lot of excitement about being a winner at the drawing. We know a lot of students went home happy for their luck.

Also thanks to our Bromfield Clubs. (Middle School Student Council, NHS French Club, WoD, and NHS). This is a PTO sponsored event, and we are also grateful to local vendors who help make this event possible. Please visit the Harvard PTO website to see the night’s activities, find recipes of food served, and to learn more.
