The Trustees of the Harvard Public Library have just celebrated our annual staff appreciation week from Feb. 10 to 14. We want to publicly express appreciation to the library staff for the excellent work that they do for the citizens of our town. For townspeople from pre-readers to senior citizens, HPL staff members provide dedicated services with a degree of professionalism and commitment that is phenomenal. They know and share resources that range from Nourse’s “History of Harvard” to the latest iPad app. Their efforts have made the library a beloved institution. Skilled and always eager to help, they are patient, friendly, competent, and professional—every week of the year.
These cold, snowy days are the ideal time to visit the library and browse the display of new titles or enjoy a magazine in the reading room. While you are there, please join us in thanking our great staff!
