I would like to thank all the friends and neighbors who have given me so much sympathy and support this past month. I was surprised by how many notes, emails, and phone calls I received from people who had similar experiences on a smaller scale in the past. Everyone expressed how upsetting it was to have dogs come onto their property and attack their animals. As a previous dog owner myself, I took responsibility to make sure that they were well taken care of and not free to roam on other people’s property. It would be a nicer world if everyone did the same.
