LEGO Exposition
The Harvard Public Library will present a LEGO Exposition Saturday, March 1, at the library. The expo will be organized as follows: ages 3 to 5 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.; ages 6 to 8 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.; and ages 9 to 18 and older from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Participants will bring constructions of their own design to the expo to share with others and to be judged. Register in the Children’s Room, where construction guidelines are also available. Snow date is Saturday, March 15.
Native Americans and Birds of Prey
Fruitlands Museum will present “WingMasters: Native American and Birds of Prey” Sunday, March 2, from 1 to 2 p.m. at the museum. Gertz Quintet
Concerts at the Common, supported in part by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, will present the Bruce Gertz Quintet Sunday, March 2, at 4 p.m. at the Harvard Unitarian Church. The trio, which recently debuted their new CD at the Regattabar in Cambridge, features George Garzone on tenor sax, Phil Grenadier on trumpet, Gabriel Guerrero on piano, Austin McMahon on drums, and Bruce Gertz on bass. Funkhouser Trio
Center on the Common will present the John Funkhouser Trio Friday, March 7, from 7:30 to 10 p.m. The trio blends modern jazz, funk, blues, 20th century classical, Indian classical, and European and American folk music to create a funky, groove-oriented sound. Family Movie Night

Native American Herb Workshop
Fruitlands Museum and the Herbal Community of Central Massachusetts will host “Native American Herbs in the Modern Landscape” Saturday, March 8, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the museum. Harvard Friends of the Arts will present singer-songwriter Gail Finnee Rundlett in concert at the Harvard Public Library Saturday, March 8, at 7:30 p.m. Rundlett will offer a program of contemporary and traditional folk music, accompanying herself on Appalachian dulcimer and guitar. Flute Music Concert
The Virginia Thurston Healing Garden will present Harmonie Transverse Sunday, March 9, at 3 p.m. at the garden, 145 Bolton Road. This flute choir of 20 flutists will play classical, folk, and original music on piccolo, C flute, G alto flute, bass flute, and contra bass flute.
