Bromfield graduate, grew up in Still River
Roger L. Wood, Jr., 56, of Washington, N.H., died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013, after a period of declining health.
Roger, the son of Roger L. and Frances M. (St John) Wood, Sr. was born in Clinton, Jan. 25, 1957. He grew up in Still River and graduated from the Bromfield School.
Roger is survived by two sons: Adam Wood and his wife Kelly of Raymond, N.H., and Matthew Wood of Washington, N.H.; his mother, Frances M. Wood of Stoddard, N.H.; two grandchildren; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Calling hours were Monday, Feb. 18, at the Fletcher Funeral Home in Keene, N.H.. Private family services at the Bellevue Cemetery were planned. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Roger L. Wood, Jr.’s name to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 450 Brookline Ave., Boston, MA 02215.
