Annual Holiday Tea

The Harvard Girl Scouts and Council on Aging will host the Annual Holiday Tea at Holy Trinity Parish (St. Theresa’s church) on Wednesday, Dec. 5, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Seniors are invited to enjoy cookies, cider, and other treats, as well as entertainment from the girls. If you plan on attending, contact the  Council on Aging at 978-456-4120.


On the road with COA

  • Friday, Dec. 7. A cast of 200 will create a spectacular show at the Reagle Music Theatre in Waltham. The show will feature two hours of Christmas music with 20 precision dancers, Victorian carolers, the Parade of the Wooden Soldiers, the Teddy Bear’s Nutcracker, 75 elves, and a Nativity pageant. We will leave Hildreth House at 6:15 p.m. and return by 10:30 p.m. Total cost is $45 for ticket and van and must be paid with reservation.
  • Monday, Dec. 31. You don’t have to stay up until midnight to celebrate New Year’s Eve. COA will celebrate in a private dining room on the top floor of the Prudential in Boston. The trip will include a three-course lunch, a panoramic view of Boston, and transportation door-to-door. This is a dressy occasion for all, and only a few seats are available, so call for a reservation. We will leave at 10:45 a.m. and return by 3 p.m. The total cost for the trip, lunch, and noisemakers is $60 and must be paid at the time of reservation. The view of Boston is free.
