  • Tuesday, Nov. 27. Get in the holiday spirit and join a trip to Cataldo Nursery in Littleton. The nursery will be transformed into a holiday wonderland, with more than 40 decorated Christmas trees. Do your holiday shopping, pick up a poinsettia, a decorated holiday wreath, garlands, holiday cards, live Christmas trees, outdoor greens, and much more. The group will leave Hildreth House at 9 a.m. and return at 11:30 a.m.
  • Friday, Dec. 7. A cast of 200 will create a spectacular music show at the Reagle Music Theatre in Waltham. The show will feature two hours of Christmas music with 20 precision dancers, Victorian carolers, the Parade of the Wooden Soldiers, the Teddy Bear’s Nutcracker, 75 elves, and a Nativity pageant. Our group will leave Hildreth House at 6:15 p.m. and return by 10:30 p.m. Total cost is $45 for ticket and van and must be paid with reservation.
  • Monday, Dec. 31. You don’t have to stay up until midnight to celebrate the New Year. The Council on Aging will celebrate New Year’s Eve in a private dining room on the top floor of the Prudential in Boston for lunch. The trip will include a three-course lunch, a panoramic view of Boston, and transportation door-to-door. This is a dressy occasion for all, and only a few seats are available, so call for a reservation. The trip will leave at 10:45 a.m. and return by 3 p.m. The total cost for the trip, lunch, and noisemakers is $60 and must be paid at the time of reservation. The view of Boston is free.
