At 4:51 p.m., police responded to a request for a welfare check at a Wescott Road home. Police report everything was ok. At 5:30 p.m., a resident of Old Mill Road asked police for information regarding posting no trespassing signs on his property. The resident said hunters had been using his property, police say.
Wednesday, Oct. 24
At 3:24 p.m., the owner of a landscaping company reported someone had stolen a backpack leaf blower and a chainsaw that had been left out overnight in a parking area on Ayer Road. The value of the items is about $800, police say. Police have no suspects in the case. At 4:13 p.m., an Old Littleton Road resident called the police station to ask about some people who were clearing trees in a nearby property. Police say the workers were clearing trees for a solar panel installation.
Thursday, Oct. 25
At 2:27 a.m., police pulled over a vehicle on Ayer Road because its license plate lights were out. As a result of the stop, police arrested the driver, Marcos Souza, 44, of Codman Hill Road, Boxborough, for driving with a revoked license. Souza’s car was towed and he was released on bail later that morning, police report. At 10:47 a.m., an employee of Dunkin’ Donuts on Ayer Road reported hit-and-run damage to his car. Police say they are checking security footage in hopes of identifying the culprit. About $800 worth of damage had been done to the front bumper of the employee’s car, police report. At 11:50 a.m., a caller reported a dog locked in a car in the parking lot of Fruitlands Museum on Prospect Hill Road. Police checked the area but did not locate the dog or the car. At 8:12 p.m., a Still River Road resident told police she was home alone with the lights off and someone had banged on her door and shone a light on the window. Police searched the area and located a person soliciting for an environmental organization. Police told the person to call it a night.
Friday, Oct. 26
At 2:40 p.m., a resident of Old Littleton Road told police a man had come onto her property, told her her home was not on a map he had, and left. The man was driving a silver car, the woman said. Police located the car, which was parked near conservation land, but not the man. They took note of it, they said.
Saturday, Oct. 27
At 9:58 a.m., police received a report of a dead deer with an arrow through it on conservation land near Stow Road and Murray Lane. Animal control responded to remove the deer.
Sunday. Oct. 28
At 2:34 a.m., a Littleton County Road woman reported her teenage son was missing. Police searched the area and located the teenager. He was taking the family dog for a walk, police report.
Monday, Oct. 29
Throughout the day Monday, Harvard dispatchers received multiple reports of downed power lines and other damage caused by high winds. (See related story on page 1). At 8:29 a.m., police responded to a home on Trail Ridge Way to help resolve a custody dispute. At 4:49 p.m., police checked out a suspicious vehicle parked on conservation land on Bolton Road. The car belonged to a local resident, police report.
