At 1:47 a.m., police investigated a suspicious vehicle parked on Ayer Road near Old Mill Road. According to police, the driver had just pulled over to program his GPS unit. At 11:45 a.m., police received a report of hunters coming within 50 feet of a property on Littleton Road. Police reported locating the hunters’ vehicle parked on the road, but not the hunters. At 1:33 p.m., Harvard Police assisted Boxborough Police at the scene of a motor vehicle stop on Massachusetts Avenue.
Wednesday, Nov. 21
At 12:14 p.m., police received a report of all-terrain vehicle activity at a conservation area on Still River Road. Police investigated but were unable to locate any ATVs.
Thursday, Nov. 22
At 11:31 p.m., police responded to a report of a gunshot heard on Ann Lees Road. The shooter was not located, police report.
Friday, Nov. 23
At 2:01 p.m., police investigated a report of a couple engaged in “amorous activity” in a vehicle parked at the overlook on Prospect Hill Road. Police told the couple to relocate. At 5:55 p.m., police investigated a report of suspicious activity on Ayer Road near Depot Road. A driver had stopped there because he was lost, police say. At 11:59 p.m., Harvard Police assisted Ayer Police at the scene of a large fight in that town.
Saturday, Nov. 24
At 9:21 a.m., police investigated a report of a possible break-in at Fruitlands Museum. According to police, while a window was found open there, nothing appeared to have been taken and nothing was damaged. The incident is under investigation, police say. At 1:45 p.m., police noticed skateboarders at Bellevue Cemetery during a building check. Police contacted the Cemetery Commission to inquire if skateboarding was allowed there, but report they haven’t received an answer yet.
Sunday, Nov. 25
At 12:33 a.m., a resident of Partridge Hill Road told police she had arrived home to find the door open and some lights on. She later told police her brother had been in the house earlier in the day, and he probably had forgotten to turn the lights off. At 2:17 a.m., police discovered two people at the town beach on Pond Road. The two had gone down to the beach after a reunion party at the Bromfield School. They had been drinking, police say. Police took the two individuals into protective custody and released them later that morning. At 11:46 a.m., police received a report of several people erecting hunting stands on property on Willard Lane. The hunters were cousins of the property owner, police report.
Monday, Nov. 26
At 9:52 a.m., 11:53 a.m., and 3:37 p.m., two people contacted police to discuss an incident at a Bolton Road address. The incident was a civil matter, police say. At 4:27 p.m., the Harvard Fire Department responded to a report of someone stuck in an elevator at a business on Ayer Road. At 8:55 p.m., police received a report of a deer struck but not killed by a car on Littleton County Road. The town’s animal control officer responded. At 11:46 p.m., a Bolton Road resident complained of a barking dog at a neighbor’s home. The dog’s owners were not home when officers went to the house, police say.
