At 11:28 a.m., police responded to an office on Ayer Road for a complaint of an unwanted man in the waiting room. Police gave the man a verbal trespassing warning and instructed the business owner on how to file for a harassment prevention order from Clinton District Court. At 7:34 p.m., police checked out a suspicious vehicle parked near the intersection of East Bare Hill and Brown roads. The car had broken down and the driver was waiting for assistance, police report.
Wednesday, Oct. 10
At 7:34 a.m., police investigated a two-car motor vehicle accident on Ayer Road. According to police, both cars were headed in the same direction when the lead car stopped for an officer directing traffic at the bridge construction site on Ayer Road. The car behind failed to stop and ran into the lead car. The rear car had to be towed away, police say, and the driver was issued a citation for speeding. There were no injuries reported. At 8:15 a.m., police investigated suspicious activity at an Ayer Road address. The suspicious person was an employee there, police say.
Thursday, Oct. 11
At 1:15 a.m., police received a report of a tree limb obstructing Mill Road. The limb was removed from the road. At 11:01 p.m., a Stow Road resident reported vandalism to mailboxes in the area. According to police, three mailboxes on Stow Road were vandalized, and someone had knocked over trash barrels, spilling trash into the road. Police have no suspects in the case.
Friday, Oct. 12
At 6:17 p.m., police checked out a car parked on the side of Old Shirley Road. The driver had run out of gas and was waiting for assistance, police say.

Sunday, Oct. 14
At 12:43 a.m., police investigated a suspicious motor vehicle parked on Massachusetts Avenue. The driver of the car was waiting for someone, police say. At 7:09 a.m., police received a report of two bulls and a horse standing in the road on Still River Road. Police located the owners of the animals, who moved them off the road. At 9:06 p.m., police checked and cleared a business on Ayer Road after a commercial burglar alarm went off.
Monday, Oct. 15
At 2:26 a.m., police responded to a Still River Road home for a report of a domestic disturbance. Police say the incident, which involved family members, involved no injuries, and no arrests were made. At 8:27 a.m., a resident of Shaker Road complained that landscapers at a nearby home were using leaf blowers to blow leaves across the street and onto conservation land. Police spoke to the landscapers, who said they were finished with their work. At 8:30 a.m., a resident of Slough Road told police she suspected someone had stolen her Elizabeth Warren campaign sign from her property. The sign has yet to turn up, police report. At 3:04 p.m., a woman called police to report she had seen a green jeep with no license plate driving on conservation land near Depot Road. Police say they were unable to locate the jeep. At 3:28 p.m., police served a court summons at a Stow Road address. At 2:37 p.m. and 5:43 p.m., they served summonses at two separate Ayer Road addresses. At 5:41 p.m., police received a report of a hit -nd-run accident on Massachusetts Avenue. No report was available as of press time.
