At 7:52 a.m., police investigated a motor vehicle accident on Ayer Road. A car had hit a deer, police say, killing the deer and causing more than $1,000 in damage to the car. The town Department of Public Works came to remove the deer carcass from the road. At 8 a.m., police received a complaint that someone had driven past a stopped school bus on Stow Road. Police located and spoke to the driver. At 12:10 p.m., a woman asked a police detail officer at the election polling place at the Bromfield School to help locate her car. Police say the officer helped the woman find her car and, realizing it was unsafe for driving, had it towed.
Wednesday, March 7
At 10:07 p.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Stow Road. A car had hit a deer, police say, causing less than $1,000 of damage to the car. The town’s animal control officer responded to deal with the deer.
Thursday, March 8
At 8:24 a.m., police received a report that the deer that had been struck by a car the night before was still alive on Stow Road. The animal control officer responded to the situation. At 9:14 a.m., police responded to Bolton Road for a report of a road obstruction. A National Grid truck was doing some repair work, police say. An officer stood by while the crew finished its work.
Friday, March 9
At 2:14 a.m., police investigated a suspicious motor vehicle that was parked at a business on Ayer Road. The vehicle checked out, police say. At 9:57 a.m., police helped a Woodside Road resident file a report of credit card fraud. At 10:58 a.m., police referred to the dog control officer a report of a lost dog found on Old Littleton Road. At 2:36 p.m., an officer spoke to two people who were involved in a domestic incident on Oak Hill Road. The incident was resolved, police say.
Saturday, March 10
At 3:10 p.m., a Harvard resident came to the police station to discuss an incident that had occurred earlier in the day. No other information is available on the incident.
Sunday, March 11
At 12:49 a.m., Harvard Police helped the Boxborough Police respond to a disturbance on Codman Hill Road. At 1:58 a.m., an officer doing a building check reported discovering vandalism and breaking and entering at the Gokey & Quinn Bus Company on Ayer Road. Someone had broken a fluorescent light bulb and put the pieces under the tires of a bus there in an apparent attempt to puncture the tires, police say. The vandal had also entered an unlocked minivan, police say. Police have not made arrests in the incident.
Monday, March 12
At 8:30 a.m., police received a report that someone had driven past a stopped school bus on Massachsuetts Avenue. Police located and spoke to the driver, who was apologetic, police say.
