Tuesday, March 1
At 7:40 a.m. police were called to Willard Lane to investigate a two-car accident. The cars had side-swiped each other trying to traverse a snow-narrowed road. There were no injuries, and no tow was required; no citations were issued.
Wednesday, March 2
At 8:43 a.m. Harvard police assisted Boxborough police with a traffic stop on Mass. Ave. At 11:45 a.m. a Myrick Lane resident reported that a black sedan with Vermont plates had been slowly driving through the area Saturday through Monday, around 6:30 to 7 p.m., but not during the day. Police checked the area, but did not locate the vehicle. A doctor stopped at the station at 2:28 p.m. to report being threatened by a patient. Firefighters were called to a home on Simon Atherton Row at 5:03 p.m. as a result of a faulty fire alarm.
Thursday, March 3
At 7:38 a.m. a caller reported an aggressive driver in the area of Fairbank Street and Littleton Road. Police located and stopped the car, and gave the driver a verbal warning. At 10:50 a.m. someone stopped at the station to inform police about a parking problem on Ayer Road.
Friday, March 4
At 11:25 a.m. a caller reported that a car had pulled into the driveway to turn around, and in the process got stuck and damaged a fence. Animal Control was called at 3:43 p.m. to euthanize a deer injured in a collision with a car on Stow Road.
Saturday, March 5
The ambulance transported a woman to Emerson Hospital from a doctor’s office on Ayer Road at 6:03 a.m. While the Harvard ambulance was occupied on that call, the Littleton ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Old Littleton Road at 7:51 a.m. and transported a man to Emerson Hospital. At 10:23 p.m. an officer on patrol stopped to investigate a car parked near the railroad tracks on Still River Depot Road and asked the driver to move along.
Sunday, March 6
An Ann Lees Road resident reported hearing gunshots at 12:46 a.m. Police checked the area but saw and heard nothing unusual.
Monday, March 7
A Littleton Road resident reported hearing an alarm sounding at 2:32 a.m. Police checked the area, but did not hear an alarm. At 9:03 p.m. a Department of Public Works truck hit a telephone pole on Old Littleton Road after a deer ran in front of the vehicle. The driver was taken by ambulance to Nashoba Valley Medical Center.
