At 11:52 a.m. a Concord woman called the station to report that she had paid a Harvard man $450 to clear snow from her roof, but he never did the work, although he cashed the check. She said her home subsequently suffered $12,000 in damage from ice dams.

Thursday, February 24
A house-sitter called at 12:37 a.m. with concerns about muddy footprints she saw on the floor when she entered the house she was tending on Prospect Hill Road. Police did a walk-through of the home with her and found that everything seemed to be in order, with no signs of an intruder.
Friday, February 25
Police and medical personnel responded to a call at 6:39 a.m. about a two-car accident on Ayer Road. Three people signed refusals for ambulance transport to the hospital. No citations were issued, and neither vehicle was towed. At 6:12 p.m. firefighters were called to a Cleaves Hill Road home to address problems with a woodstove there. At 7:23 p.m. an Old Littleton Road resident called to ask for assistance with her teenage son, who was out of control. Police responded to the scene of a two-car accident at Ayer and South Shaker roads at 7:42 p.m. The incident happened when a car tried to stop at a stop sign on South Shaker Road and slid into the intersection, striking another car heading north on Ayer Road. Both cars were towed. There were no injuries, and no citations were issued. Police said the accident was caused by slippery road conditions. A Myrick Lane resident called at 8:32 p.m. with suspicions about a white Cadillac that had been driving up and down the road and then pulled into a house across the street. The driver told police he had been looking for an address on Myrick Lane, which he had just found.

Someone stopped at the station at 1:48 p.m. to discuss a skateboarding event being planned for August.
Sunday, February 27
At 12:58 a.m. a caller reported an injured deer in the roadway on Still River Road. The animal control officer was notified.
Monday, February 28
Ambulance and fire personnel were called to the scene of an accident on Route 2 at 10:04 a.m. The ambulance took one person to Emerson Hospital. At 3:24 p.m. the driver of a school bus van traveling on Route 2 called to report that one of her passengers, an autistic 17-year-old boy, had started striking her in the arm. She pulled off the highway until police arrived and called the teen’s parents. A Craggs Road resident called at 3:40 p.m. to report that her teenage daughter had not returned home from school as expected. Police saw the girl in the center of town and notified her mother. The girl said that she had arrived home from school to find that her mother wasn’t home and the door was locked, so she decided to head for the library. At 5:06 p.m. police responded to the scene of a rollover accident on West Bare Hill Road. The driver was taken by ambulance to Nashoba Valley Medical Center; the car was towed. No citations were issued. A Green Hill Road resident called at 8 p.m. to discuss a strange occurrence on Facebook. The person was advised to contact the company with any concerns about its website.
