A recent letter-writer has taken serious umbrage with one of your editorial cartoons, which poked a little good-natured fun at the current school board censure mania in town. I actually found it quite funny, and would like to see more on-topic humor like it.
Harvard has apparently become a town where a good part of the citizenry is unhappy unless it is ripping another part of the citizenry to shreds in weekly letters to the editors. The same people publish the same style rants week in and week out. The topics change from time to time; the tedious nastiness doesn’t.
If anything, we need a little more humor in Harvard, not less.
