Cary Browse is the new president of the board of directors at Fivesparks, a community arts collaborative housed in the town’s former library. Browse takes over from Mark Mikitarian, who has held the role since 2018 and will remain on the board.

Browse, Mikitarian said, “brings genuine passion to the organization’s mission, and has demonstrated a ‘get it done’ work style through her support of major Fivesparks events including the Harvard Music Festival, the Holiday Artisan Fair, and the Storytelling Festival.”

Browse has lived in Still River since 1988. She has worked at Town Hall, and before that she and her husband Nick ran a small audio video consulting firm. Browse served on the public fundraising committee for the Harvard Public Library, is a library trustee, and is also active in the Harvard Unitarian Universalist Church. She has been on the Fivesparks board since 2019.
