Anna Wahl, Class of 2013 at Skidmore College, was recently named to the Skidmore College Thoroughbred Society for the fall 2009 semester. The Thoroughbred Society recognizes Skidmore College varsity student athletes who have achieved a grade-point average of 3.67 or higher in the previous semester. Wahl is the daughter of Michael and Kathleen Wahl of Depot Road.
Blanchard Road resident Ryan Andrews (Bromfield Class of 2009) made the dean’s list for the fall term at Wentworth Institute of Technology. To make the dean’s list students must have a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher. Andrews is majoring in electromechanical engineering.
Littleton Road resident Ian Miller, a 2009 Bromfield graduate, has made the dean’s list at Bay State College on Commonwealth Ave. in Boston. Miller is majoring in entertainment management.
Emily McCourt, daughter of Scott and Kim McCourt of Granite View Lane, has been named to the dean’s list at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester for the first semester of the 2009–2010 academic year. A fourth-year student, McCourt is a math major with a minor in computer science. She is involved in the school’s theater department and has served as scene shop assistant for three years. She has also served as shop manager, and in the recent production of Cabaret, was both the lighting and set designer.
