For Art’s Sake would like to congratulate Bromfield senior Peter Young, this year’s recipient of the Donna Sherman Art Scholarship For Art’s Sake presented at graduation last week. Peter Young is a talented artist skilled in graphic design and animation as well as traditional drawing and painting. Peter challenged himself both in the classroom and independently to develop what he refers to as “the right attitude toward art,” which he explains involves both heart and mind. Peter will be attending Rhode Island School of Design in the fall of 2010. All of us look forward to seeing more of Peter’s work as he continues to develop his artistic talents. Congratulations to Peter and to every member of the graduating class.
